GRADES 7-9 (DIVISION III)
Minimum daily requirements for student learning
2026-2027 classes will begin on Monday, August 31, 2026
Students should be available daily during their scheduled Synchronous (live) learning time online
Synchronous learning - students will meet with the entire class, led by the online teacher for approximately 120 minutes of instruction each day—additionally, students will have access to individual/small group instruction to support their learning.
Asynchronous learning - students will engage in learning activities similar to homework independently or with caregiver support.
Elective Courses – students have the opportunity to take elective courses such as French, Foods, Art and Outdoor Education.
2026-2027 Junior High Timetable
Work period is a time for students to work on their tasks by themselves with home support. A time to use what they just learned to practice, finish assignments, or show their thinking.
Electives provide an opportunity for students to learn a new skill set and build further community within their online environment. The electives are shared with students in September and begin in October.
Power Up Hub is a daily routine used to review, collect, or log assignments. It helps teachers track student accountability, identify missing work early, and provide targeted support for students to "Level up"
