The division provides a wide range of academic courses and opportunities for international students who wish to integrate into our unique schools while gaining exposure to English language and Canadian culture. Prairie Land will ensure our international students have a valuable academic and cultural experience and will work hard to ensure the school placement matches each student’s interests and abilities. Prairie Land School Division offers students the full range of academic courses identified in the Alberta Education Program of Studies which lead to an Alberta Education grade 12 diploma.

Payment of Fees and Tuition
Prairie Land Online Academy will issue an invoice once a student is accepted into one of the programs.
Payment may be made by e-transfer, wire transfer, bank draft (must be couriered), Canadian money order, or PayPal (a link to PayPal will be included on the invoice). Payments by PayPal will include an additional fee to offset the credit card fees charged. Please note, there may be delays in program commencement if the payment choice is not electronic.
Students will have the option to pay for their course in full upon enrollment or by the payment deadline dates. Late payments after October 15th for semester one courses and March 15 for semester two courses will result in a student being withdrawn from the course. Summer School payments are due by the first day of classes. Course marks will not be uploaded to Alberta Education until the full payment is received.
Refund Policy
If a student chooses to cancel their registration before the commencement date, they will be eligible to receive a refund of 2/3 of tuition.
A student choosing to terminate their registration after the commencement date will not be eligible for any refund.
Students who start after their commencement date will not be eligible for a refund for the time missed.
