Prairie Land Online Academy will be offering Summer School programming from July 2 - 29, 2026.
Summer school offerings will include most of the core courses with some CTS courses. Summer courses are asynchronous (recorded) so there will be no live classes and the course will be done at the student's pace – while fulfilling the requirements of the course deadlines.
Before July 2 students will receive an email with instructions on how to access their D2L/Brightspace account. We encourage students to access their account when they receive the email to ensure they can log into their account. They will have access to their course(s) and assignments beginning on July 2.
August Diploma Exam registrations will open up on June 16 and close on July 6.
Diploma Exam registration instructions will be emailed by June 16 to students taking a diploma exam course.

Payment of Fees and Tuition
If a student is not funded by Alberta Education Prairie Land Online Academy will issue an invoice once a student's course(s) have been reviewed and accepted.
Payment may be made by e-transfer, wire transfer, bank draft (must be couriered), Canadian money order, or PayPal (a link to PayPal will be included on the invoice). Payments by PayPal will include an additional fee to offset the credit card fees charged. Please note, there may be delays in program commencement if the payment choice is not electronic.
Students will have the option to pay for their course in full upon enrollment or by the payment deadline date. Summer School payments are due by the first day of classes. Late payments will result in a student being withdrawn from the course.
